GHANA
Galatians 6:9 – “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
Ghana, located along the West African coast, is home to about 33–34 million people and is often known for its stability, vibrant culture, and strong Christian witness across the region. The nation’s dominant faith is Christianity, practiced by a significant majority through Pentecostal, Charismatic, Catholic, and Protestant traditions, while Islam and traditional beliefs are also present, particularly in northern areas. With a long history of active churches and evangelism, Ghana stands as a potential sending nation for missions across Africa and beyond.
The encouragement in Galatians calls believers to perseverance — continuing faithfully in good works, discipleship, and prayer, trusting that God will bring a lasting spiritual harvest in His time.
Prayer Focus:
- Pray for the Ghanaian Church to grow in a strong missions vision, reaching unreached villages in the north and extending Gospel com passion beyond national borders.
- Ask the Lord to transform those who identify culturally as Christian but long for authentic faith, that the true Gospel would bring repentance, renewal, and deep discipleship.
- Pray for wisdom, peace, and spiritual discernment as religious dynamics shift — that believers would respond with love, truth, and faithful witness, and that many across Ghana would encounter the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
