rises upon you.”

Iran, located in the heart of the Middle East, is home to about 88–90 million people, with a rich history, deep cultural heritage, and a youthful population seeking purpose and hope. The nation’s dominant religion is Islam, primarily Shia Islam, which shapes much of public life and national identity. Alongside this, a small but resilient Christian community continues to grow, often expressing faith through close relationships and personal testimony. In a time marked by political and economic challenges, many Iranians are searching for spiritual meaning, openness, and renewed hope.

Isaiah’s call to “arise and shine” speaks prophetically into Iran’s story — a reminder that God’s light can reach every heart and every generation, bringing transformation even in difficult seasons.

Prayer Focus:

  • Pray for young people across Iran to discover hope and identity in Christ amid growing social and economic disillusionment, finding purpose that transcends circumstance.
  • Ask for God’s love, wisdom, and peace to touch religious and government leaders, shaping hearts toward justice, compassion, and truth.
  • Pray for effective outreach through Iranians living abroad — that relationships, media, and personal witness would encourage many within the country, drawing them toward the light and love of Jesus.
