COLOMBIA
1 Corinthians 15:58 – From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands.
Colombia has around 52 million people, largely Christian (Catholic and Evangelical). After years of conflict, the nation longs for stability. Christianity is deeply woven into the cultural, historical, and social fabric of Colombia. It is overwhelmingly the dominant faith in the country, but the religious landscape has been shifting quite a bit over the last few decades.
Although Christianity is a vibrant and deeply rooted force in Colombia that brings hope to millions, we should pray for the nation’s believers, church leaders, and communities as they continue to navigate the lingering shadows of historical conflict, seek healing and reconciliation, and strive to be steadfast beacons of peace in regions still impacted by violence and social inequality.

- Pray for Christ’s peace to replace fear amid ongoing tension and violence.
- Pray for safety for medical misisonaries who are often targetted.
- Pray for wisdom in handling the economic and social challenges triggered by mass Venezuelan immigration.
